Monthly Favourites | April

Hi everyone! So I haven't been blogging for quite a little while because I've been attempting to update my blog design and for me,it takes quite a while because I'm not exactly a professional when it comes to these things but anyway back to what I was talking about....April favourites. Although,I seriously can't believe it's May already - the year is passing by in what feels like a blink of an eye. Although I am looking forward to warmer weather, longer evenings and reintroducing my favourite spring products into my routine. Here are some of the things I have been loving this month....

Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit -  I got this palette for Christmas and have used it nearly every day since. I seriously don't know why I didn't get this sooner,it just ticks all the right boxes. The powders are long lasting, pigmented and blendable. All the things you want from powders, right? I was over the moon about how good the contour shades were,I mainly use the shade Fawn for contouring(the middle shade in the second row). I've definitely used it a lot this month. Not only does it sort out contouring and highlighting, but setting,non-budging concealer and you could also have a matte eyeshadow look too. I do love a good multi-tasking product.

Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation - Foundation is always something I struggle to get right but this particular foundation works for me. I have used this non-stop this month.Although I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with dry skin as it clings to dry patches but this foundation is definitely right up my street. I had heard so many good things about it and they have proven to be right.

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge -  You probably seen this in my latest haul and I am definitely glad that I decided to buy this. It has changed my makeup application entirely, this is the best tool for applying concealer. It ticks all the boxes for me with concealer,it is shaped in away that it can get under your eyes to blend out concealer and doesn't leave the concealer cakey in the slightest. Although I love this sponge,I don't like blending foundation with it but it's a concealer saviour and like anything made by Real Techniques,a truly great product.

Real Techniques 301 Bold Metals Flat Contour Brush - This brush has taken my contour routine to a whole new level. The density of the brush creates a much more sculpted contour, whenever I first used this brush I couldn't believe the result it had. This paired with my Anastasia Contour Kit is the perfect combination. Definitely worth every penny,it turns my round face with barely any cheekbone into a sculpted contoured cheekbone.

So there we have it,my April favourites! I also thought I would mention a website that I recently came across, **www.voucherbin.co.uk**,it's a great discount website which offers discount codes for well known brands. All you need to do is go to shopping categories and select Health & Beauty to get discount codes for sites like Feel Unique,Look Fantastic etc. Well worth checking out if you're a bit like me and love online shopping and sometimes you can over spend.

What have you been loving this month?

Clothing Haul - ASOS & Miss Selfridge

Hi Everyone! So if you haven't already guessed from the title of this post, I have a fashion haul for you. So Spring is finally here which means there is a new season of clothing, which isn't so good for someone who is on a spending ban (which obviously didn't last long! Yikes!) I feel as if winter has lasted forever and seeing the new Spring season, just made me want all of it! So I went a little crazy online shopping the other week and so I thought I would share with you what I got.

ASOS is where everything got a little spendy! I could spend a lot of time and money browsing and purchasing from there. It's one of those online stores that just do everything you could possibly need. I did get quite a bit from ASOS although as you can see.....not a lot of colour.

This is part of Jack Wills new season range,Jack Wills is one of my favourite brands. Their clothes are such good quality and worth every penny. This sweatshirt is definitely a great staple to my wardrobe, can be paired with any outfit. Even though it's Spring, in the UK that doesn't mean that the sun will be shining and it will probably still be cold. So although I'm getting rid of all the layers,I'm not quite ready to go sleeveless as it is still quite chilly. ASOS have been stocking Jack Wills for quite a while now which is very handy indeed and it was £39.50 | BUY HERE

This top is plain and simple and I will probably be able to pair this with most things. It's a high neck cami top which is perfect for Spring/Summer and it's a gorgeous pastel pink colour. This particular cami top is from the ASOS collection,I have had their clothing before and it's great quality for the price. This particular top was £12.00 | BUY HERE

No matter what season of the year it is, there will always be rain here in the UK. I had been looking for a rain jacket for quite a while and whenever I spotted this on ASOS,I fell in love. There was only one left at the time in all sizes and I thought that it was just meant to be. So I added it to my basket immediately and it's just as nice in person (although this photo doesn't do it much justice) The inside of the jacket has a beautiful floral pattern and denim pattern. I liked that it was cream because I can easily put it on with any outfit, perfect for those spring showers! This is from Bellfield and is really good quality, although it is really hard to get the hold of it. It was rather pricey at £57.00 | BUY HERE
The next addition to my wardrobe were these gorgeous Vans Pebble Snake Print slip on trainers. I think these are so simple and chic and will go with pretty much anything. I will most likely wear these with skinny jeans and a simple grey t-shirt. I have worn these already and they are incredibly comfy. I know that I could of got a cheaper version but there's just something I like about Vans and the quality is really good, these will definitely be worn a lot in the Spring/Summer. These were £55.00 | BUY HERE

One thing that I lack of is jewellery, other than my Pandora, I don't wear much jewellery. So I just had a little glance at the jewellery section on ASOS and had to buy something. So I ended buying three things.

One thing that I was in desperate need of were new earrings,I always seem to lose them. In fact I should've probably bought a jewellery box. (oops!) I treated myself to these gorgeous Ted Baker Crystal Stud Earrings, they're simple studs that I can wear everyday. These are the most perfect colour and design for all year round, definitely a great purchase. These earrings were £25.00 | BUY HERE

Whenever I ordered this, I thought it was an ordinary ring but it turns out it's a midi ring. I don't own any midi rings because I wasn't so sure if they would suit me or not but whenever this came,I really did like it. I love the design and it's such a simple little ring to set off an outfit and it was only £4.00 | BUY HERE

The last piece of jewellery I got was this pendant necklace. It was cheap and simple and I know that it will just help complete an outfit. It was a sneaky purchase and I thought to myself,it doesn't cost all that much so why not? (I should probably get rid of this attitude). If you like a simple, minimalistic necklace then this is perfect for you. I'm not sure exactly sure how much this was and it's not available on ASOS anymore unfortunately,so I guess I got it on time.

Lastly, I was on the Miss Selfridge website and there was so many nice things I was lusting over but typically over on that store everything I liked was out of stock. I was able to get my hands on this chic little tshirt and I think it's perfect for Spring or all year round in fact. The beaded writing adds a nice little touch to the simple grey tshirt. The perfect addition to my wardrobe indeed and it was only £14.00, unfortunately they aren't available online at the moment but I've linked up a similar tee. | BUY HERE

So,that's it for this clothing haul. I definitely think I have a nice little range of things in my wardrobe now, for all weathers.

Have you bought anything for your Spring wardrobe lately?

Watch Envy

Marc by Marc Jacobs Baker Ladies Watch
Marc by Marc Jacobs Baker Ladies Watch
Daniel Wellington Classic Winchester Ladies Watch
Michael Kors Parker Ladies Watch
Kate Spade Ladies Watch

I have been wanting a really nice watch for a very long time and if I had all the money in the world I would probably have a cabinet full of them but even one of these beautiful watches would be right up my street.

Jewellery is something that I don't buy very often,I do love designer jewellery (especially watches) although there is a lot of saving required. I'm always on the look out for some amazing new watches to add to my collection. There are shops that I always go to first for designer labels. Goldsmiths is usually great for designer jewellery, ASOS is great for a mixture of affordable and designer watches as well as free delivery and Selfridges has a good range of designer labels. I thought that I would share a little wishlist of some of the ones that have caught my eye incase any of you are looking for a new time telling accessory.

Have you been lusting over any watches lately?

Monthly Favourites | February

Hi everyone! Can you believe that it's March already? This year needs to slow down, I know that February was a short month but it really has flown by. It has been a fairly busy month...which is probably why it has went so quickly. Back to the point - my February favourites. These are the things I have been loving this month....

BEAUTY FAVOURITES |

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette | Link - I got this early this month and I have been using it ever since. I had been holding off on getting this palette because it is really expensive but I finally splurged out on it and it's worth every penny. It just adds a soft focus effect to your skin and just completes my whole make up look. This is now a part of my everyday routine. I sweep the more bronzed powder over my cheeks and the other two shades as a highlight. This product is so pigmented and it just leaves your skin looking gleaming from with in. I cannot put into words how beautiful this palette is. Madly in love with this product.

Lorac Pro Palette | Link - I just got this palette for Christmas and I have been using it everyday since, it is easily the best palette I own. The palette has 16 shades, ranging from the light to dark shades, it has the perfect combination of matte and shimmer shades. This palette has the most pigmented and beautiful shades yet and this is why I love it. This is just a really great palette with the most flattering shades for everyone. I adore it.

Benefit Roller Lash Mascara | Link - This sample was in this month's Elle Magazine. It claims to grab, separate, lift and curl the lashes and it also claims that you don't need eyelash curlers and it does everything it says on the tin. Even the sample size is easy to apply, the wand has a nice subtle curve which hugs the lashes and doesn't budge in the slightest. It lasts all day and I cannot wait to buy the full size because my sample has ran out, I have been using it every day and it's a fantastic mascara. I love it.

Nars Audacious Lipstick | Link - I have used this lipstick so much this month. It has been a part of my everyday makeup routine because it's the most beautiful nude lipstick that I own. It is the most beautiful creamy texture and is weightless so it doesn't even feel like there's lipstick on your lips. It glides on smoothly in one single stroke, definitely worth the money. My favourite lipstick by far.

SKINCARE FAVOURITES |

Glamglow Supermud Clearing Treatment Mask | Link - I have had really bad skin this month and this mask has been an absolute saviour. I absolutely HATE blackheads and this mask just draws them out, shrinks the pore size and leaves my chin area (where most of my blackheads are) looking and feeling clean and fresh. I have used this quite a lot this month and it has cleared up my skin completely.

OTHER FAVOURITES |

90210 - All I ever seem to do these days is watch Netflix and I have watched this everyday this month. It is definitely worth the watch. I'm nearly on the last episode so that just proves how much I love it. Highly recommend it!

Kodaline Coming Up For Air
- This album was just released this month and I have been loving it! I really like Kodaline and have been listening to their music for quite a while now and this album is so good. Definitely worth the listen.

Imagine Dragons Smoke and Mirrors - This is another album which has been released this month and it is absolutely amazing. I love Imagine Dragons and I love nearly every song on this album,it's great. Again, definitely worth the listen.

Well that's what I've been loving this month,I will also be trying to upload a new post every Sunday from now on.

What's some of your favourite things from this month?

2015 Wishlist

Hey everyone! I was looking through some online shops and have been drooling over lots of stuff! Mainly beauty products obviously! So I thought that I would show you what I've been lusting over and what I hope to own by the end of 2015.

Lorac Pro Palette 2 - I have the first Lorac Pro Palette and I love it! I only got it for Christmas but I have used it everyday since,it is definitely the best and most pigmented palette that I own but there will be a post on it very soon......but back to what I was talking about. The Lorac Pro Palette 2 has much lighter shades and if it is anything like the first Lorac Pro Palette,it will be amazing! (which I heard it is)

Tiffany & Co. Heart Key Pendant - This is definitely not something that I expect to on by the end of 2015 because it's quite expensive! I have wanted something from Tiffany & Co. for years but never actually got anything and I spotted this not so long ago and it's gorgeous! I just think that there's something so elegant about this jewellery range....it's so beautiful. Honestly,I don't think that I will buy it myself because I don't really buy my own jewellery but i might just drop a few hints to some family members for my birthday.

Chanel Jardin De Chanel Blush - I honestly think that this is the most beautiful makeup product that I've ever seen. This is part of Chanel's Spring 2015 Collection so it's not released just yet but I really really want this...I don't own anything from Chanel but I hope that this might be my first Chanel product. It just screams buy me....I absolutely love it and I have heard that Chanel blushes are brilliant.

Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat 'Pillow Talk' - I don't have very many lip liners so I hope to build up a little collection of them throughout the year and this will definitely be the first on my list! I heard about this from two of my favourite blogger's/youtuber's, Amelia and Suzie. I've always been unsure about lip liners but this look very natural but it is quite expensive for a lip liner so it definitely will be be bought as a treat.

Zoeva Rose Golden Complete Eye Set - I have Zoeva brushes and every single one that I have bought is such good quality. Although I don't have the rose gold one's,which I personally love (but then again who doesn't.) Another thing that I don't have very many of,are eye brushes...and I'm pretty sure these would be all I need. What isn't there to like about them though...rose golden great quality eye brushes that will be enough to last a lifetime.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette - I'm sure you've heard of this before....if not, have you been living under a rock? It's talked about so much amongst YouTuber's and bloggers,I don't usually give in to hypes because sometimes I think the product that people hype about, can be over-rated. I have seen the looks that have been created with this on YouTube and I think that it just completes the look but who can review a product better than yourself right? I really really want this but it's super expensive.

Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow - I don't yet own anything from Charlotte Tilbury but the products look absolutely beautiful. They all look so luxurious, hence why it's a high end brand. This little duo looks perfect for contouring and has gorgeous, vintage looking packaging. I can tell I love it already.

Real Techniques Bold Metals Contour Brush - Real Techniques have a brand new brush collection released, called Bold Metals and they look amazing. I have a lot of Real Techniques brushes and they are by far my favourite brushes and they are fantastic quality for such a small price. Although the Bold Metals collection are more luxurious than the other ones, therefore they're more expensive. The one that appeals to me most out of the collection is the Contour brush,it looks amazing. I love contouring and make up brushes so it sounds perfect to me!

So that's my 2015 wishlist......What's on your wishlist for this year?

Favourites of 2014

Hey everyone! So 2014 is now over...I can't believe it,this year has flown by! So I thought that I would show you the things that I have been loving this year!

This year has been a year of new beauty discoveries and rediscoveries and these are the ones that have stood out the most.

Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer -  I bought this at the start of 2014 and I've loved it ever since. I never really thought that tinted moisturizers had much coverage but I was wrong. It has amazing coverage, probably the same amount as some of my foundations. The finish is in no way cakey,it blends perfectly and it definitely puts some moisture in the skin. Don't think that because it's a tinted moisturizer that it won't cover because I thought this and I was amazed by the finish,it left my skin looking flawless.

Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette - I got this for my birthday in July and it has been my go to eyeshadow palette all year round. It is definitely my all time favourite eyeshadow palette ever,it has six matte shades ranging from an almost white shade to a carbon black. It's just the perfect little everyday palette and it's no wonder it has made it into my favourites.

Zoeva Classic Brush Set - Zoeva was a new brand discovery for me this year. I got the make up brush set for my birthday and I absolutely love them. They are such high quality, luxurious brushes. I use these on a daily basis and I will hopefully add to my collection in 2015....with some prettier rose gold ones perhaps

Bobbi Brown Corrector - This was a rediscovery of mine,I actually got this for Christmas 2013 and I wasn't entirely sure about this product so it was lying at the bottom of my makeup bag for so long. I completely forgot about it until around June when I was having a makeup clear out and I rediscovered it again. It is now a part of my everyday makeup routine and it works perfectly under foundation to help cover any dark circles (which I have a major problem with) and it isn't cakey unlike some other correctors.I have definitely used this A LOT in 2014.

Essie Romper Room - This nail polish came in a set of four mini nail polishes. Essie is my favourite nail polish brand and this shade was part of the Spring 2014,I think I've had this nail polish on 90% of this year! Essie is not the cheapest nail polish brand but it's such good quality and this shade is just perfect,it's so flattering for my skintone. I think I will struggle to find a nail polish shade that will beat this one!

Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream - I can't remember exactly when I got this but I think that it was in the spring time,I got it as a gift. This was definitely my Spring/Summer scent of this year, its a gorgeous floral, classy scent. The thing I love most about Marc Jacobs perfume is that they have the most beautiful bottles and this didn't disappoint. The scent, the design - Marc Jacobs make the most beautiful perfume.

Nars Laguna Bronzer - This bronzer has been all over the internet,it has been raved about for so long. I can't remember when exactly I got this but I have used this all year! I wasn't entirely sure about this before buying because I knew it was shimmery and bronzers tend to look orange on some of us pale skinned people....but no, this was perfect! It gives me that little bit of a bronze without looking too full on! It is quite expensive for a bronzer....but definitely worth the splurge.

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Lightscapade - This has been the highlighter I have reached for, nearly everyday of the year! It is perfect for pale skin,it doesn't leave a metallic looking finish on the cheeks. Although the weartime isn't the best, it is definitely my favourite highlight of the year. I love sweeping this over my cheekbones, brow bone and cupids bow because it gives the most natural glow. It's definitely my holy grail highlighter...it's so beautiful.

Estee Lauder Illuminating Perfecting Primer - This primer is the only primer I've used all year. It doesn't make your foundation cakey like some other primers. It's lightweight and is a lotion-like texture. I think the primer makes a visible difference. Whenever I have it on,my skin looks fresher, dewier, smoother and I find that my pores look smaller. It definitely keeps my makeup on for much longer.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer - This is my holy grail concealer. It is high coverage, easily blended, doesn't crease and covers dark circles....everything you need in a concealer really. This is far better than any of my high end concealers, definitely worth all the hype. Nobody notices those dark circles under your eyes with this product....definitely one of my holy grail products.
So that's it! Thats my favourite products of 2014....What are some of your favourite products from 2014?
Happy New Year
